Collaborations or MoU or MoA between the University associated with Thailand or Thai academic institutions
The University of Nottingham and Thammasat University have a long standing 2+2 agreement within the Faculty of Engineering, where students study for two years at TU before moving to UoN for the final two years and then graduating with a degree from both universities. There’s also a new 3.5 + 0.5+1 model, in which students study for 3.5 years at TU, as well as a study abroad semester at UoN, before progressing to a master’s degree at UoN’s Faculty of Engineering.
The University also has a joint programme in Medicine with Srinakharinwot University, with students applying to both universities at the same time and are interviewed. Students then undertake a preparatory course in Thailand before coming to Nottingham for 3 years to complete their BMedSci and then returning to Thailand for clinical placements. There’s a second agreement with the School of Pharmacy, with students completing a Bachelor of Science in International Pharmacy Practice before returning to Thailand to complete the PharmD degree.
The University of Nottingham regularly visits Chulalongkorn University and King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi where we continue to receive students into our master’s courses.
